The perfect pesto feta corners recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- For the dough:
- 300 gr Flour
- 2 tbsp Soft butter
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 0,5 dice Fresh yeast
- 0,5 Cup Hot water
- For covering:
- 250 gr Crumbled feta
- 250 gr Ready-Made green pesto or homemade pesto
- 1 Handful Freshly chopped flat leaf parsley
- Set:
- 1 Egg yolk
- 4 tbsp Sesame
- 4 tbsp Black cumin
- Dough: Knead all ingredients into a smooth yeast dough and let rise in one place for about half an hour.
- 2nd filling: Crumble the feta cheese and add the finely chopped parsley and mix everything together well.
- After the dough has risen, cut the dough into 3 equal pieces. Now use a pizza baking sheet or other round sheet and roll out the first part of the dough in a round shape, about the size of the shape. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and place the round dough tin on it. Now spread a large tablespoon of pesto on top and distribute it evenly. Scatter feta cheese on top and roll out the next piece of dough and place on top. Brush with pesto again and sprinkle with the rest of the feta. Roll out the last piece of dough and finally place it on top and press the ends together a little.
- Now brush the egg yolk on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds and black cumin. Set the oven to about 180 degrees and bake the dough for about 20-25 minutes until it has got a nice color.
- After baking, let it cool down, cut into squares and then cut into triangles again. But you can also cut pieces of cake or squares out of it. Serve warm or cold. Have fun baking 🙂
