Soup from May Turnip
The perfect soup from may turnip recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 May turnips approx. 230 g
- Some onion
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 200 Milliliters Vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoon Coffee cream or whipped cream
- 2 tablespoon Cream cheese
- Pepper and salt
- Peel the turnips thinly and cut into cubes. Put the tender green leaves to one side. Peel onion and chop finely.
- Heat the oil. Sauté the onion and turnips while stirring. Add the vegetable stock and cream. Bring to the boil briefly and simmer gently on a low flame for about 10 minutes.
- Puree the soup. Stir in the cream cheese. Season with pepper and salt.
- Put the soup on a plate. Wash the leaves from the turnip, shake dry and cut into small pieces. Garnish the soup with it.
