Ingredients

  • 1 Swede *
  • 2 Carrots
  • 1 Onion
  • 4 Onion
  • 1,5 L Vegetable broth *
  • 200 g Diced Bacon
  • 1 Fresh onion

Instructions

  • Peel and wash the swede, carrots and potatoes, then cut into large pieces and slice everything by my genius or roughly.
  • Put everything in the wok - I like to cook soups in the wok - pour the vegetable stock on top, close with a lid and simmer gently for about 45 minutes.
  • At the same time, put the bacon in a pan and fry it, then add the second onion and toss, remove the heat and pull to the side and let it cool. Add this after the soup has cooked, stir everything well and just let it steep for a while - this soup feels just as good once it has been warmed up.
  • You can replace the bacon with smoked pork or other meat.
  • 5, there were homemade ciabatta mini rolls (margin number follows)
  • * The turnip finds its way back into the kitchen 😉 If it used to be a vegetable that was associated with not so nice events, it experiences a comback .... whether it is soup vegetables, for hash browns or or or. It is healthy and it is also an inexpensive vegetable.
