Spicy Potato Cake
The perfect spicy potato cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Potato
- 12 Bl. Sage fresh
- 1 kl. bunch Parsely
- 1 branch Mint fresh
- 1 Onion
- 1 pinch Dried marjoram
- 1 pinch Chilli powder
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 Eggs
- 4 tbsp Flour
- 100 ml Milk
- 2 tbsp Margarine
- Salt and pepper
- Peel and cook the potatoes. Cut the onion into small cubes and sauté in 1 tbsp margarine. Add marjoram and chilli powder and deglaze with soy sauce. Reduce the whole thing.
- Clean the herbs and cut them into small pieces. Mash the potatoes together with 1 tablespoon of margarine and the milk. Larger pieces can remain in it. Add the herbs, onion mixture, flour and eggs as well as salt and pepper and stir well.
- Line a small loaf pan with baking paper. Pour in the potato mixture. Bake in the oven at 200 ° C for approx. 1 hour. Let cool down a little. Tastes good as a side dish, but also just as easily with a little salad. Enjoy the meal!
