Spicy Potato Cake

The perfect spicy potato cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Potato
  • 12 Bl. Sage fresh
  • 1 kl. bunch Parsely
  • 1 branch Mint fresh
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 pinch Dried marjoram
  • 1 pinch Chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 tbsp Flour
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 2 tbsp Margarine
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Peel and cook the potatoes. Cut the onion into small cubes and sauté in 1 tbsp margarine. Add marjoram and chilli powder and deglaze with soy sauce. Reduce the whole thing.
  2. Clean the herbs and cut them into small pieces. Mash the potatoes together with 1 tablespoon of margarine and the milk. Larger pieces can remain in it. Add the herbs, onion mixture, flour and eggs as well as salt and pepper and stir well.
  3. Line a small loaf pan with baking paper. Pour in the potato mixture. Bake in the oven at 200 ° C for approx. 1 hour. Let cool down a little. Tastes good as a side dish, but also just as easily with a little salad. Enjoy the meal!
