Elderberry Champagne
The perfect elderberry champagne recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 10 Elderflower umbels
- 7 liter Water
- 120 ml Vinegar
- 2 Lemons
- 3 Pck Citric acid
- 500 g Sugar brown
- Pick the cones and shake them off briefly, but not too hard. Dissolve sugar in the water then add citric acid and vinegar.
- Put the cones in the water, wash the lemons and cut them into slices, then add them. I put everything in a 10 L bucket, then covered it loosely and let it stand warm for 5 days.
- Stir with a wooden spoon every day. After the 5 days, sieve the juice again through a hair sieve and fill everything into bottles. Now screw on and refrigerate for 3-4 weeks.
- I burst one bottle ….. the other one tastes nice and refreshing!
