Kohlrabi – Pasta …
The perfect kohlrabi – pasta … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 150 g Pasta
- Salt
- 0,5 Fresh onion
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1 Fresh kohlrabi approx. 300 g
- 150 Milliliters Vegetable broth
- 100 g Whipped cream
- Fresh thyme
- Pepper and salt
- Some lemon juice
- 3 tablespoon Grana Padano Parmesan, grated
- 150 g Mixed minced meat
- 1 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
- Pepper and salt
- Fat for frying
- Fresh basil
- Cook the noodles in boiling salted water until they are firm to the bite. Drain and drain.
- Peel the onion and dice finely. Peel, wash and cut the kohlrabi into sticks.
- Steam the onion in the hot butter until translucent. Add the kohlrabi and sauté briefly. Pour in the vegetable stock. Bring to the boil briefly and cook on a low flame for about 10 minutes. Pour in the cream and warm it up.
- Wash thyme, shake dry. Pluck the leaves and add to the sauce. Season to taste with pepper, salt and lemon juice. Finally stir in the cheese. Add the pasta and mix everything well.
- Mix the minced meat with the egg and thyme. Season with pepper and salt. (Possibly mix in a few breadcrumbs) Form small steaks out of the mixture and fry them in hot fat.
- Divide the pasta on two plates. Place the beef steaks on top. Garnish with basil.
- Also suitable for vegetarians without mince steaks!
