Strawberry and Banana Cake Dessert
The perfect strawberry and banana cake dessert recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the cream:
- 2 Pc. Banana
- 200 g Butter
- 200 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Lemon peel
- 4 Pc. Eggs
- 200 g Flour
- 0,5 packet Baking powder
- 200 g Strawberry
- 1 packet Custard powder
- 350 ml Milk
- 50 g Butter
- 50 g Sugar
For the cast:
- 1 packet Cake icing powder, of course
- 0,25 ml Water
- Some sugar
- Right in advance: The dough is for a whole tray. Since I didn’t have enough fruit, but felt like having cake, I baked the cake as a tray, but only cut out two pieces and frozen the rest in portions. I’ve already used two of them again, it was pleasantly nutty, so I found that freezing was actually an advantage, I can recommend you, if you don’t want to make a full tray, this is a good solution. Of course you can also prove it completely.
- Roast the nuts in a pan without adding any fat and let them cool.
- Preheat the oven to 200 °.
- Line the tray with baking paper.
- Mash a banana. Mix with butter and sugar, lemon zest and eggs until frothy.
- First mix the flour with baking powder, then add the ground and roasted nuts and mix well.
- Fold in this mixture.
- Spread the dough on the baking sheet (on the baking paper).
- Then bake for about 15 minutes.
- In the meantime, boil the pudding from milk, sugar and pudding powder, remove from the stove and immediately stir in 50 grams of butter, allow to cool.
- Cut out the desired size of cake from the cake and brush with the pudding cream.
- Top with banana slices and halved strawberries.
- Cook the cake topping according to the instructions on the package and sprinkle the cake with it.
- Let it steep in the fridge for at least 2 hours !!
