Buttermilk Pancakes

The perfect buttermilk pancakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 ml Buttermilk
  • 125 g Flour
  • 1,5 tsp Baking powder
  • 25 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Pc. Egg
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Fat for frying
  1. Melt the butter and let it cool down a bit.
  1. Sift the flour and baking powder and mix well. Add salt, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg, butter and buttermilk and stir to a smooth batter
  1. Heat some fat in a small pan and bake the pankakes in portions on both sides until golden brown.

Tip:

  1. Fruit sauces or jam go best with it, but they also taste very tasty pure;)
