Kassel Ragout with Rice

The perfect kassel ragout with rice recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Kasseler Kamm raw smoked
  • 4 Pc. Onions
  • 1 Pc. Apple
  • 2 Discs Pineapple TK
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • Pepper
  • Cumin
  • 1 Cup Rice
  • Butter
  • Salt
  1. Boil rice with a piece of butter in salted water. If you want, you can add more spices.
  2. Cut the kasseler, apple and pineapple into cubes, also cut the onion into pieces. Fry everything in oil (approx. 15 minutes) and season with cumin and pepper.
  3. Take the mixture out of the pan, pour in the water, salt, pepper and bring to a boil and thicken with a little flour.
  4. Taste! Serve and you’re done.
