  • 400 g Pork cheeks

Dragon fire

  • 1 piece Fresh onion

I don’t have a plan yet how to prepare it, but I’ll think of something on the long drive back. After a few hundred kilometers the idea comes to me. I make a spicy wok dish out of it.

  1. I start by paring in the cheek. Then I heat the peanut oil in a wok and fry the cheeks until they are hot and crispy. So that everything is ready at the same time. I put 1 cup of basmati rice and 2 cups of water in a saucepan and boil it with salt. When the rice is boiling, reduce the temperature and let it steep with the lid closed until it has the right consistency. I also cut the onions and peppers into fine strips. I put them in stages with the meat in the wok and continue to fry everything together. Now cut the garlic and ginger very finely and put them in the wok. Stir-fry everything for 5 minutes. The vegetables should be crisp. Now all the curry pastes come in and the herb pesto. . Stir in everything and deglaze with half a cup of water. Season to taste and let simmer gently for another 5 minutes.
