Salmon Tartare in Bed of Lettuce with Honey Mustard Sauce

The perfect salmon tartare in bed of lettuce with honey mustard sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Salmon fillet
  • 0,5 piece Big onion
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 bunch Dill
  • 4 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 Splash Lemon juice
  • 2 piece Lettuce hearts
  • 1 Splash Balsamic cream
  1. Remove flakes and the like from the salmon fillet. Then cut into smaller pieces and chop as small as possible with a large knife.
  1. Peel half the onion and cut into small cubes. Sauté the cubes very briefly in a hot pan, remove them and let them cool down.
  1. Mix the salmon and onions and season with a little pepper. Chop the dill and mix with the rest or serve separately in a small bowl.
  1. For the sauce, mix mustard and honey to taste, add 1-2 dashes of lemon juice.
  1. Arrange two lettuce leaves on each plate and drizzle with a little balsamic cream. Serve the salmon tartare with honey mustard sauce.
