Baking: Mini Star Cake

The perfect baking: mini star cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

* for the dough

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbsp Water hot
  • 45 g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla sugar
  • 30 g Flour
  • 25 g Food starch
  • 0,5 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 pinch Christmas spice mix … RZ in my KB

* for filling and topping

  • 100 g Butter
  • 80 g Powdered sugar
  • 40 g Cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch Christmas spice mix
  • 1 pinch Tonka vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • White chocolate flakes for decoration
  1. Beat egg and water together until frothy, then add sugar and vanilla sugar and continue beating.
  2. Mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder and spice mixture and stir in.
  3. Now put the dough in a greased, dusted star shape and bake in the oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 20 minutes (stick test).
  4. After baking, turn them out onto a wire rack. (If the mold doesn’t come off yet, leave it on top until it cools down a bit.)
  5. Cut through the cooled ground once.
  6. Beat the butter for the filling / topping until frothy. Mix the powdered sugar, cocoa, vanilla sugar and spice mixture and mix in with the water.
  7. Spread about a quarter of the mixture on the lower floor.
  8. Place the top one on top and then brush the entire cake with it.
  9. Then sprinkle with white chocolate flakes or something similar.
  10. Place the cake in the refrigerator until the topping has set.
  11. PS: If you like it a little sweeter, you can also use 100g powdered sugar and 20g cocoa for the filling / topping.
