Dishes wet after washing – the best tips

When loading the dishwasher, you should make sure that the dishes can dry properly afterward.

  1. Do not overfill the dishwasher and do not stack the dishes on top of each other so that they can dry well and quickly afterward.
  2. Always arrange your pots and bowls in such a way that the water can drain out by itself.
  3. When loading, make sure that the larger crockery is placed in the lower area and the smaller items in the level above.
  4. After the wash cycle, spread out a dishcloth on the upper level. The dishcloth absorbs the rising water vapor and thus no water drips back onto the dishes.
  5. If the dishes are very wet, you should check the heating rod of the dishwasher. This could be defective and thus the reason for the wet dishes.
  6. Alternatively, you can open the dishwasher a little after the end of the wash cycle. This allows the water vapor to escape and the dishes to dry.
