How to juice raw beetroot

If you are the lucky owner of a powerful juicer, you can easily juice beetroot.

  • Peel the beetroot and cut it into small pieces.
  • Add some vitamin C or lemon juice to keep the beetroot juice from turning brown.
  • Place the beets in the juicer. Always check the temperature of your juicer. Due to the hard flesh of the tubers, the juicer can quickly overheat and break.

So you can juice beetroot without a juicer

If you don’t have a juicer, or if you only have an old or weak one, don’t give up. Even without a powerful product, the vegetables can be juiced.

  • First, you should peel the beetroot and cut it into small pieces.
  • Then put the pieces in a saucepan and cover the bottom with water. Place the pot with the lid on the stove and let the beetroot simmer very slowly.
  • After about 20-30 minutes, the beetroot should have softened a bit. Put the beets in a blender and blend well for 1 minute.
  • You can then press the blended beets through a strainer or kitchen towel to separate the juice from the solids.
  • To keep the juice from turning brown so quickly, add a little vitamin C or lemon juice.
