It doesn’t matter whether there’s a party coming up or you want to give yourself a little treat: our sponge cake idea with quark is a quick dessert.

  • Ingredients: 125 grams of butter and sugar, three eggs, 250 grams of flour and 100 grams of quark, two teaspoons of baking powder, and some vanilla sugar, if you like.
  • Put the butter, sugar, and eggs in a bowl. Add the cottage cheese and vanilla sugar as well. Mix everything into a smooth batter.
  • Mix the baking powder with the flour and add it to the dough. When everything is well mixed, pour the batter into a cake pan of your choice. Grease the chosen cake tin well, for example with margarine. This prevents the dough from caking.
  • Now all you have to do is put the sponge cake with quark in the oven and bake at 180 degrees for about an hour. After that, you can enjoy it.
