Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 rolls, stale
- 375 ml milk
- 20 g smoked bacon
- 1 small onion(s)
- ½ bunch parsley
- 3 eggs
- Salt
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut the rolls into thin slices, boil the milk, and pour over the rolls. Let stand for 30 minutes. Heat the butter and fry the finely diced bacon until golden brown. Finely chop the onions and parsley and fry briefly. Add them to the rolls along with the eggs, salt, and nutmeg and knead thoroughly. Rinse your hands with cold water and form medium-sized dumplings. Place in boiling water and let stand for 20 minutes. Then serve.
