Vegetarian kohlrabi stew

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 kohlrabi
  • 500 g potatoes
  • 250 g carrot(s)
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 150 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Parsley
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 23 minutes; Total time approx. 43 minutes

Remove the large leaves from the kohlrabi and finely chop the small ones. Peel the carrots, kohlrabi, and potatoes and dice them. Boil the potatoes and carrots in about 1 liter of water for 10 minutes. Then add the kohlrabi cubes, season with pepper and salt, and cook for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the cream with the flour and season again with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir into the stew, add the chopped parsley, and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
