Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion(s)
- 250 g diced ham
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
- Flour
- Fat
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel and grate the potatoes (using a food processor), drain well, and grate the onion. Briefly fry the ham cubes, then mix with the potato mixture, grated onion, eggs, salt, pepper, flour (about 2-3 tablespoons), and nutmeg. Transfer to a greased casserole dish (although connoisseurs will want a cast-iron pot) and bake in the oven at 200°C for 2 hours, until it develops a nice brown crust. Serve with applesauce.
