Spinach with minced meat

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 200 g minced beef
  • 800 g spinach, chopped, frozen or fresh
  • 80 g onion(s)
  • olive oil
  • 80 g rice
  • 500 g vegetable stock
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) allspice powder
  • ½ tsp paprika powder
  • Natural yogurt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Finely dice the onions and sauté in a pan with olive oil. Add the minced meat, mashing it finely, and cook over high heat, stirring, until the juices have evaporated and the meat is lightly browned. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in the spinach and uncooked rice. Stir in the broth, pepper, allspice, and paprika, and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Add water if needed. If desired, add natural yogurt to the plate.
