Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g turkey breast
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 ml white wine
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some rosemary, dried
  • some thyme, dried
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 150 g mushrooms, small
  • 150 g shallot(s)
  • 100 g bacon, sliced
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 480 g tomatoes (from a can)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Pat the turkey breast dry and roughly dice. For the marinade, combine the oil, wine, spices, herbs, and crushed garlic. Pour over the meat and chill for 1 hour. Clean the mushrooms and peel the shallots. Remove the meat from the marinade. Wrap each cube with a piece of bacon, thread it onto 6 skewers, alternating with the mushrooms and shallots, and grill for 15 to 20 minutes. For the sauce, finely dice the peeled garlic and onion and sauté in hot oil. Add the tomatoes with their juice and marinade, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 10 minutes. Serve with rice.
