5-minute pan-fried börek with lavash bread

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • ½ bunch parsley, fresh
  • 200 ml milk
  • 50 ml oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • n. B. Pul Biber
  • 4 tortillas (lavash breads)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mash the feta cheese with a fork, finely chop the parsley, and mix with the cheese. For the sauce, mix all the ingredients together. Brush a non-stick pan with margarine, place a lavash bread on top, and spread generously with the sauce. Place the second lavash bread on top, spread with the sauce, and spread the filling over it. Place another lavash bread over the filling, spread with the sauce, and place the last bread on top, spread generously with the sauce, and let it sit in the pan for about 10-15 minutes. Finally, turn on the stove, cook the börek on both sides over low heat, and brush with butter.
