Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 pc. dough (triangular yufka sheets)
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • possibly cheese
  • some butter, for spreading

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Brown the ground meat, add the remaining ingredients, and mix. If desired, add some grated cheese. Lightly moisten the yufka leaves with water and spread about 1 tablespoon of the ground meat mixture on the wide side, then roll them into a cigar. Repeat with the remaining yufka leaves. Brush the tops of the cigars with a little melted butter and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 20 minutes. Tip: A filling of feta cheese and spinach leaves is also delicious.
