Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 package of yufka or filo or strudel dough sheets
- 600 g minced beef
- 1 large onion(s)
- 250 g yogurt
- 200 ml milk
- 100 ml oil
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper
- pepper
- Herbs of Provence
- mint
- cumin
- Feta cheese, optional
- 4 m.-sized potatoes

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
on the sheet
Peel and grate the potatoes. Fry the minced meat, grated potatoes, and onions with the spices. Mix the yogurt, milk, oil, and eggs together. Grease and flour a baking sheet, lay out two layers of pastry sheets, spread half of the minced meat on top, and spread 2/5 of the yogurt mixture on top. Distribute a few pieces of the pastry on top and place a new layer of pastry sheets on top. Spread the other half of the minced meat on top, then 2/5 of the yogurt mixture on top, then distribute a few more pieces of the pastry and place a final layer of pastry sheets on top. Spread the remaining yogurt mixture over the börek. Tip: Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese between the layers, if desired. Bake in the oven at 180°C for approximately 30-35 minutes, until the surface is crispy and brown.
