Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 apples
  • 3 tbsp rum
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 125 g almond(s), ground
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g flour
  • possibly powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Mix diced apples with rum and vanilla sugar. Cream together butter, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Add nuts, cocoa, cinnamon, flour, and baking powder and slowly stir in. Finally, fold in the apples. Pour the batter into a greased springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 1 hour. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
