Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 5 egg yolks
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 200 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Baunilha flan

Bring the milk to a boil with the split vanilla pod and let it steep. Beat the egg yolks and eggs with 200g of sugar until light and fluffy. Add the cooled, strained vanilla milk. Caramelize 200g of sugar with a little water in a pan. Pour the caramel into flan dishes. Pour the egg mixture on top. Set in a preheated oven at 180°C in a water bath for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Let cool and turn out onto dessert plates.
