Baked minced steaks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 800 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried
  • some salt and pepper
  • 4 m.-sized tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp green olives filled with paprika paste
  • 4 slices of cheese (sandwich cheese, Gouda or Emmental)
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Preheat the oven to 220°C (top/bottom heat, fan oven: 200°C). Peel and finely chop the onion, then sauté in hot butter until translucent, then set aside. Combine the minced meat with the egg, onion, breadcrumbs, parsley, and oregano, and season with salt and pepper. Form 8 meatballs and place them in a greased baking dish. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. Now wash and slice the tomatoes and olives. Distribute everything among the minced steaks, top with the cheese slices, and return to the oven for another 3 minutes. Serve with a delicious salad.
