Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 10 eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • 6 m.-sized potatoes
  • 3 small onions
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Water (salt water)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Spanish national dish

Peel the potatoes (or use a fork if you like) and cut them into eighths. Boil them in salted water. For the tortilla, cut the onions into eighths and thickly slice the garlic. Place them in a casserole dish or ovenproof pan with the cooked potatoes. Whisk the eggs and milk well and pour over the other ingredients in the casserole dish. Bake for 5-10 minutes at 200°C on the middle rack (180°C fan-assisted oven). The time depends on the size of the casserole dish, so check frequently to make sure nothing burns. Do the pin test. When the egg is cooked in the middle, the tortilla is ready.
