Spread the love

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 100 g mixed nuts
  • 200 g dark chocolate coating
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g margarine
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 jar sour cherries
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 100 g cake icing, dark

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Roughly chop the nuts and chocolate coating. Melt the chocolate coating. Cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt until fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs. Stir in the very warm, liquid chocolate coating while stirring continuously. Drain the cherries well. Fold in along with 2/3 of the nut mixture. Mix the flour and baking powder and fold in. Pour the batter into a greased, parchment-lined baking pan (approx. 20×30 cm) or a shallow casserole dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for approx. 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, then turn out onto a wire rack and let cool completely. Melt the cake glaze, spread it on the cooled cake, and sprinkle with the remaining nuts. Allow the glaze to set. Then cut the brownies into about 20 cubes.
