Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 150 g sugar
  • 120 g flour
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 50 ml milk
  • Butter and breadcrumbs for the mold
  • 200 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g syrup, light
  • 200 g almond sticks
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

according to a Swedish recipe, makes about 12 pieces

First, melt the butter and allow it to become lukewarm. Beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy. Stir in the cooled butter. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add it along with the milk. Fill a buttered, breadcrumb-dusted 24 cm diameter pan with the batter and bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes until almost done (light brown). For the glaze, briefly bring all the ingredients to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove the almost-baked cake from the oven, spread the glaze over it, and return it to the oven. Bake for about 15 minutes, until the glaze has taken on some color. The entire tart has about 5,400 kcal. Cut into 12 slices, that’s 450 kcal per slice.
