Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 300 ml sugar
- 150 ml flour
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder, 70%
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes
Swedish chocolate cake
Combine sugar, eggs, and butter (margarine). Stir in flour, cocoa, vanilla sugar, and baking powder, and knead into a dough. Bake in an ovenproof baking dish (20x25cm) at 150°C for 35 minutes. Tip: It’s best to use a wooden skewer to check if the cake is cooked through. Note: I got the original recipe from Sweden; the measurements are actually in milliliters for sugar and flour.
