Swedish cinnamon rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of yeast (dry yeast)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 75 g sugar
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 75 g butter
  • 250 ml milk
  • 40 g butter, melted
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Combine flour, dry yeast, salt, 75g sugar, and cardamom. Heat 75g butter and milk and mix everything together. Knead, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes. Roll out and brush with a mixture of 40g melted butter, 50g sugar, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, and 1 tbsp cinnamon. Roll into a log and cut into 2cm-thick slices. Brush with egg or milk and bake in an unheated convection oven at 180-200°C for 20 minutes. Tastiest warm.
