Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • Flour as needed
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • ½ pack of vanilla sugar
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Beat the eggs with a fork. Add the vanilla sugar and baking powder and continue beating. Add the buttermilk and stir in the sugar. Stir in enough flour to form a thick batter. Drop the batter, spoonful by spoonful, into a pan with hot oil. When the bottom is lightly browned, flip the aladushki and finish baking. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired, and enjoy with any compote, jam, honey, or maple syrup!
