Delicious ham sandwich with fried egg

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 eggs (fried eggs)
  • 4 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 6 slices of ham (salmon ham)
  • ¼ cucumber(s)
  • Pinch(s) of dill and/or salad herbs
  • Butter or margarine
  • Pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • Pinch(s) of sugar
  • 2 slices of bread (brown bread)

Strammer Max

First, we’ll quickly prepare the cucumber salad. Wash the cucumber and (peel if desired), then grate or slice it into thin slices in a bowl. Season with vinegar and olive oil and dill and/or salad herbs, salt, pepper, and sugar. Set the bowl aside. Heat a pan on the stovetop and add olive oil, then crack in the eggs. While the eggs are cooking, spread butter or margarine on the two slices of bread. Then spread the cucumber salad on the buttered bread and place six slices of smoked ham evenly on each slice. Place the cooked eggs on the bread and serve immediately. A quick, light, and uncomplicated meal. Tastes great, especially on hot days. Tip: The fried egg doesn’t need to be salted or peppered, as the smoked ham already has a very spicy flavor. The cucumber salad can also be replaced with coleslaw.
