Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g rice
  • 4 cup(s) peas, young green
  • 200 g ham, fat
  • 3 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • 50 g butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pea and rice casserole

Prepare the rice. Sauté the peas in a little salted water. In an ovenproof dish, sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic in butter until translucent. Mix in the finely chopped ham, rice, and peas. Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Beat the eggs and pour over the mixture. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
