Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 100 g bell pepper(s), red
  • olive oil
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 100 ml broth
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 40 g tomato paste
  • 4 cl Metaxa
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Finely dice the onion and bell pepper and fry gently in a little olive oil until softened. Deglaze with white wine and stock. Reduce slightly and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir in the cream and tomato paste. Simmer for about 30 minutes until thickened. Add the Metaxa 10 minutes before the end and season again.
