Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 250 g quark, low-fat
  • 250 g cream cheese
  • 300 g natural yogurt
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • Salt
  • 2 garlic cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the cucumber, then grate/shred it, place it in a sieve, and sprinkle with a little salt. This softens the cucumber and helps it drain. In a bowl, combine the two types of quark with the yogurt. After about 15 minutes, squeeze some of the cucumber’s liquid with a spoon and then add it to the quark and yogurt mixture. Add more salt if necessary. Press in garlic cloves to taste (I usually use three) or chop them very finely. Refrigerate and let it marinate for at least 1 hour.
