Colorful pancakes

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ cup(s) milk
  • 100 g flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp beetroot puree to color the dough red
  • 1 tsp orange peel, grated
  • 4 tbsp spinach puree to color the dough green
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • 4 tbsp carrot(s), grated, to color the dough orange
  • ¼ tsp curry

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

First, prepare the pancakes. Mix the milk with the flour, salt, and three eggs until a batter forms. To “cook” the pancakes, add a little oil to a pan and let it heat up. To prevent the pancakes from being too greasy, you can grease the pancakes with a napkin or similar paper. Divide the batter into three portions. To color the pancakes, add the coloring ingredients and the appropriate spice to each batter and then cook. I hope you can understand my German, because I’m from Chile and don’t know a lot of the specific vocabulary.
