Irish breakfast potato cakes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g mashed potatoes (mashed potatoes), freshly prepared
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • some butter, for frying
  • some flour, for rolling out
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Fadge

Stir the butter into the slightly cooled mashed potatoes, add the flour, season with salt, and roll out on a floured surface to about 1 cm thick. Cut into triangles and fry in butter over medium heat for 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Serve with bacon and scrambled eggs.
