Spaghetti with red pesto

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400g spaghetti
  • 60 g tomato(s), dried, pickled in oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 30 g sesame seeds
  • 1 chili pepper(s), red
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp Parmesan
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Prepare the pasta according to the package instructions. Squeeze the juice from the pickled tomatoes and roughly chop them. Peel the garlic and roughly chop it. Split the chili pepper, remove the seeds, and cut into pieces. Place the tomatoes, garlic, sesame seeds, chili pepper, oil, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese in a blender and blend until smooth, stirring occasionally. Season the finished pesto with salt and pepper and serve with the cooked pasta.
