- some tomato sauce
- 2 slices of puff pastry, frozen
- 8 slice(s) of tomato(s)
- 8 basil leaves
- 8 slices of mozzarella
Instructions
Working time approx. 2 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes
Puff pastry nests caprese à la Didi
Thaw the dough discs and cut them in half. Spread each with tomato sauce and top with tomato slices. Arrange a few basil leaves on top and cover with mozzarella. Preheat the oven to 190°C and bake the nests for 15-20 minutes using fan-assisted oven. Arrange and serve.
