Herb – Garlic – Crostini

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 6 tbsp olive oil
  • pepper
  • 250g baguette(s)
  • 1 bunch of chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Delicious with wine and cream cheese dip

Peel the garlic cloves and press them into the olive oil. Season with pepper. Cut the baguette into thin slices and brush with the garlic oil. Place the slices on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven (electric oven: 220°C, gas mark 4, fan oven: 200°C) for about 10-15 minutes until golden brown, turning once. Wash the chives, shake dry, and cut into very fine rolls with scissors. Sprinkle on slices of bread and press down lightly. Serve with a mild cream cheese dip.
