Spaghetti with Italian tomato sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 1 can of tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 cup of crème fraîche or sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • Cheese, grated
  • Water (salt water)
  • basil
  • oregano
  • marjoram
  • possibly Parmesan

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Cook the pasta in a little salted water until tender. Meanwhile, add the tomatoes to a pot, stir in the spices and herbs, and heat. Add the crème fraîche or sour cream and some grated cheese and simmer gently. Drain the pasta and rinse with cold water. Serve with the sauce, garnished with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil, if desired.
