Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 can/n tomatoes, chunky
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • olive oil
  • basil
  • salt and pepper
  • some sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Finely chop the garlic and onion and sauté in a pan with olive oil, but do not let it brown. Add the canned tomatoes and simmer for about 15 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and a little sugar. Add basil, if desired, and you’re done! Truly delicious and low in calories, too. Also delicious with Parmesan cheese on top!
