Briefly puree the tomatoes with a hand blender, heat the pan and sauté the finely chopped garlic and fine onion cubes in olive oil. Tomatoes in the pan, oregano and salt, a little pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes, then keep warm.
Bring salted water to the boil for the spaghetti and cook them in it with a light bite. Then drain and add to the tomato sauce along with freshly cut basil leaves. Stir briefly and serve.
