Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • ½ bunch basil
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 slices of white bread
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Finely chop the tomatoes, garlic, parsley, and basil and season with salt and pepper. Marinate in olive oil. Toast slices of white bread, rub with fresh garlic, and brush with olive oil. Spread the tomato mixture on the hot slices of white bread. Garnish with basil leaves. Serve immediately.
