Pasta with tomatoes and basil

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g diced tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ bunch basil, finely chopped
  • 400 g pasta (fettuccini)
  • 6 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper. Cook the fettuccini until al dente and drain. Reserve a large cup of the cooking water. In a bowl, toss the hot fettuccine with the tomatoes, olive oil, the reserved cooking water, and the basil.
