Chicken tagliatelle

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600g tagliatelle
  • 500 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme and oregano, optional
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 100 g Parmesan
  • 150 ml water
  • 400 ml cream
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • possibly arugula or lamb’s lettuce

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Tagliatelle with chicken in Parmesan cream sauce

Cook the tagliatelle according to the package instructions. Wash the chicken, pat dry, and dice. Season with salt and pepper. Brown it in a pan with a little olive oil, add the garlic and cook briefly, then transfer the cooked meat to a plate and keep warm. Pour the water into the pan and bring to a boil. Then add the cream and simmer for about 10 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Add the Parmesan cheese and cook for another 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat, add the meat and tagliatelle, and mix everything together. Garnish with arugula or lamb’s lettuce, if desired, and serve immediately.
