Gnocchi with chanterelles and sage

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 250 g chanterelles
  • 150 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • 1 handful of bacon
  • Parmesan
  • 10 sage leaves
  • 1 onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the gnocchi in boiling salted water for about 5-6 minutes. I tried making my own, but found it much more time-consuming than store-bought. Finely dice the onion and fry it with the bacon in olive oil. When the pan is hot enough, add the chanterelle mushrooms and fry everything thoroughly. Deglaze with the vegetable stock, reduce briefly, and then stir in the crème fraîche. Now finely chop the sage leaves and add them about a minute before the end of the cooking time. Finally, season the sauce with Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper and serve with the gnocchi.
