Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pepper(s), red, 200g
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green, 200g
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow, 200g
  • 2 onions (vegetable onions), 400g
  • 4 tomatoes, 400g
  • 50 g butter or margarine
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • some Tabasco
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 hours; Total time approx. 20 hours 20 minutes

Wash the bell peppers, halve them, and remove the white parts. Cut into strips. Peel the onions and slice them into rings. Wash the tomatoes and slice them into eighths. Peel and crush the garlic cloves. Heat butter or margarine in a pan. Add the onion rings and crushed garlic cloves and sauté. Add the bell pepper strips and tomato eighths to the onion and garlic mixture. Season with salt, pepper, and Tabasco, and cook everything for about 15-20 minutes. Season the bell peppers to taste and, if desired, thicken with flour mixed with water.
