Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans, green, cleaned and cut into pieces
  • 200 ml chicken broth
  • 2 spring onions
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp dry sherry
  • 1 tsp salt

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Heat the broth and cook the beans slowly until the broth has almost evaporated, stirring constantly. Crush the garlic and thinly slice the spring onions. Heat the oil and fat in a pan until moderately hot, add the garlic, salt, and onions. Stir for half a minute, then add the beans and stir until well coated. Drizzle with soy sauce and sherry and add the sugar. Stir-fry for another minute.
